EXPLORE NEW YORK: The Time NYC

Date: Nov 30,2016
Where: The Time NYC Hotel
224 W 49th St, New York,
NY 10019, USA
I had the pleasure of staying at the Time NYC this past year and It's one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever visited.
LOCATION
It's located along times square in New York, which is great if you're a tourist and planning to walk around. The first thing we did there was explore times square of course! We did some shopping and got some shake shack to start off our first day in the city. If you're looking for a more relaxing atmosphere I wouldn't recommend you stay in this part of the city. It's very busy and everyone's running around. If you want calm surroundings I'd look at staying in Brooklyn or the upper east side. I enjoy being in busy places so I loved it! It's a great place to stay if you want to shop and sightsee.
ROOM
I loved absolutely everything about this room. It had a modern aesthetic and was decorated beautifully. The bathroom was black marble and had great lighting for getting ready. It even had a TV in the mirror!! I was wondering where the TV was when I saw the remote and to my surprise, it was actually built in to the mirror (kind of cool, also kind of scary). There was a control for the lighting as well so you could either lighten or darken the room depending on your mood. My favourite part? THE BEDS. My friend and I each had a bed of our own and they were DIVINE. I swear I just sat down then next thing I knew I was passed out for the next two hours.
If you're hungry I also recommend trying their room service! It's mostly Italian food , which I am not that familiar with. I ordered Calamari and a pasta with a name I can't recall much less pronounce but I do remember that it was delicious. I literally inhaled it.
AMENITIES
The great thing about this hotel is their luggage storage. It's extremely convenient to leave your luggage especially if you have a late check- in or early checkout. You can leave your luggage with the concierge and go explore if you have some extra time. There's also free Wifi and they're very accommodating when you need a car or taxi!
