Staycation in the City - Residence Inn Verncouver
Hi friends! A few weekends ago Brad and I went into the city for a little staycation at the Residence Inn Vancouver. With all the travel restrictions in place we thought it would be nice to explore our own city and get some much needed R&R.
The Residence Inn is in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It is a convenient location and within walking distance of most attractions in the city. Our room was so spacious and had the most beautiful view of the west end. The property is also newly renovated and I loved the retro feel of the lobby!
The first day we decided to walk around and explore. We walked along Robson street and went in to Pacific Centre for a bit of shopping. We ended the day with dinner at Joey’s on Burrard. Brad had a delicious beef dip and I treated myself to a Chicken Parmigiano. It was a bit rainy this day but on a sunny day there are a few bike rental spots a block down from the hotel!

The next morning we enjoyed the complimentary grab and go breakfast from the lobby and walked around the city. The hotel is close to the seawall, which is one of the most scenic walks in the city! I highly recommend walking along the seawall for a bit of fresh air and exercise (weather permitting of course).
We continued to walk around during the day and ended up enjoying a massage from Smile Thai wellness on Burrard! We then ended up at happy hour at Earls Test Kitchen. There are so many restaurant and happy hour options by the hotel but I’m a creature of habit so I ended up at Earls! I tried out the new fried chicken ramen with a side of garlic parmesan fries (duh).

The next morning we checked out of the hotel and headed straight to a campaign shoot with STIL. We had such an amazing stay at the Residence Inn and I can’t recommend it enough!
If you’re looking for a staycation in the city, definitely do check out the Residence Inn. Click here to book your next stay!
Until next time,
